CorSport: Milan-Real Madrid axis remains hot – future deals highly possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan retain excellent relations with the Real Madrid management and could use them to land another player in the summer, according to a report.

Real Madrid and Milan have completed several operations in recent years, such as Theo Hernandez who arrived from the Spanish capital, and of course Brahim Diaz who went back to Los Blancos after three seasons on loan with the Rossoneri..

Since he went back to the Santiago Bernabeu, Brahim has racked up eight goals and four assists, which means a goal contribution every 113 minutes. That form could push the LaLiga giants to consider repeating the operation.

According to what is being reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Radio Rossonera) this morning, it is Arda Güler that is the profile in the viewfinder. Milan are ready to replicate the Brahim operation, welcoming him on an initial loan fee.

After paying €20m plus bonuses to Fenerbahce to sign him last summer – beating Milan to his signature in the process – Los Blancos are thinking of sending Guler out on loan to get more playing time.

The newspaper concludes by adding: ‘The Milan-Madrid axis remains rather hot and the relations between the clubs are good’. We will see if that results in more business.

  1. Put it simply, it’s disrespectful to AC Milan to accept to be treated like a stepping stone or a formation center for Real Madrid.
I don’t mind getting players from them, but it should be in terms that allows us to get the player should he be convincing for us.
