CorSport: PSG ready to make offer over €20m for Milan star – the Rossoneri’s stance

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain are readying an offer for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer in the summer transfer window, a report claims.

A report from Le10Sport on Saturday which claimed that the Ligue 1 giants have set their sights on Bennacer, arguably Milan’s most impressive midfield signing in recent years.

Calciomercato.com then offered an update over the weekend by claiming that the Rossoneri would not even come to the negotiating table unless an offer of €30m or more arrived.

According to il Corriere dello Sport on Monday (via MilanLive), PSG are indeed ready to make an offer to test Milan’s resolve. The paper claims that the Parisians will bid over €20million to try and secure the 22-year-old, a figure which would represent a capital gain for Elliott Management who paid €16m to land the midfielder from Empoli just under a year ago.

The position of the club, on the other hand, is quite clear and unshakeable in this regard: Bennacer is not for sale. This is especially the case given that a new summer revolution is on the cards, and the Algerian will be one of the few certainties regardless of the next head coach.

The report adds that he club will meet anything with total resistance when in the summer offers arrive. The situations surrounding Lucas Paquetá and Frank Kessie must be evaluated, while Hakan Calhanoglu and Rude Krunic should remain, but absolute certainty at the moment belongs only and exclusively for Bennacer.
