CorSport: Raiola opens talks with Napoli over possible summer move for Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

Mino Raiola has reopened talks with Napoli regarding a potential move there this summer for his client Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims.

Despite this, attentions have already turned to the future and what the Rossoneri may look like for the 2020-21 campaign both on and off the field, with several outlets in agreement that a managerial revolution is on the way.

That uncertainty though extends to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has made a big impact since officially securing his return to Milan in January, but with his deal set to expire in June it seems his second spell at the club could be short lived.

Multiple reports are claiming that he will sit down with club CEO Ivan Gazidis for a meeting in which he will seek clarity on the club’s plans beyond this season and on his role in particular.

According to il Corriere dello Sport however – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola is preparing for every eventuality.

He has apparently already made contact with Napoli to try to re-open the track that would take the Swede to Naples after the deal fell through in January when Carlo Ancelotti left.

The Azzurri are of course currently managed by former Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso, who Zlatan played with from 2010-2012.
