CorSport: Rangnick learning Italian six hours a day ahead of Milan move – his vision

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick is learning Italian ahead of an ‘increasingly certain landing’ at AC Milan this summer, according to a report.

As it seemed as though everything had gone quiet on the Rangnick front, numerous outlets are now reporting that the German is moving closer and closer towards accepting a role with the Rossoneri, expected to be that of head coach and sporting director.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), Rangnick is indeed getting closer to Milan. The paper claims that he is taking advantage of this total stop due to the COVID-19 emergency to further deepen his studies of Italian.

Lessons started a few months ago, since there was the first contact in December with CEO Ivan Gazidis, and now he is learning six hours a day so he is completely ready when the time comes.

The paper continues by adding that Rangnick has a great desire to test himself. He would like to return to the bench for a last big challenge in his career, and Milan would represent a great opportunity in this regard.

Being an extreme fan of Arrigo Sacchi, the Rossoneri are a special team for the 61-year-old, now he is ready to relaunch the Diavolo which inspired him growing up.

His vision is this: to find young players at low prices, to enhance them and sell them with excellent capital gains. Parallel to the results in the field, this will be his mission, as it is what he has always done.
