CorSport: Szoboszlai-Rangnick talks continue – player wants move as Milan lead Napoli in race

By Oliver Fisher -

Probable new AC Milan manager Ralf Rangnick is still in talks with Dominik Szoboszlai over a possible move to Italy, a report claims.

Wednesday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) notes how Red Bull Salzburg star Szoboszlai is a major midfield target for the Rossoneri and has been for some time.

Six months ago the then-CFO Zvonimir Boban had attempted to bring the teenager to San Siro, but the Austrian club did not give the go-ahead for the transfer. This time Rangnick could try again, and in Austria they ensure that the talks between the future manager of Milan and the player are very frequent.

The Hungarian international is convinced by the idea of a move to Italy and he continues to send signals through social media. He is now simply waiting for the Rossoneri to complete the deal by presenting the right offer to Salzburg.

Napoli are also keen however and the Azzurri have moved to begin talks with his agents, but Milan won’t give up on the player they consider to be a real talent and the perfect welcome gift to Rangnick.
