CorSport: Three names on the wish list as Milan look to strengthen the attack

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking for reinforcements for the attacking department and they have a few names in mind, according to a report.

As reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), two of the the names on the list are Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge, both of whom are young talents that the club have received encouraging scouting reports on.

At present, the track leading to Lang seems to be the most straightforward, first of all because the player wants to leave and has not hidden it and the deal could be closed at between €20-22m. De Ketelaere is not going to leave for less than €40m and no counterparts will be accepted.

Then the name of Nicolò Zaniolo emerges. He has not yet renewed with Roma (his contract that expires in 2024) and is ready to leave, but the negotiation at the moment appears complicated and he is more of an opportunity than a concrete goal currently.

  1. Milan market is getting tiring…..
We are reading about Botman and Sanches since January….
No we are reading about Zaniolo, a player who Roma will evaluate around 50.000.000€ …No Italian team would give such an amount, especially AC Milan….

    1. And you think a club following, evaluating, then making the first offer and negotiating takes less than 4 months?

      1. And you think Lille would say after 5 or 6 months that Botman’s price would go down? Of course it won’t. He’s a player wanted from several clubs, including Newcastle that would not have any problem agreeing with Lille’s price tag.

        1. Yes, that is why Milan seems to have given up on him. I don’t understand or see a point in what you wrote? You obviously don’t jump into buying a player without thourough scouting and evaluation. If after that period he doesn’t want to join your club maybe it is for the best. Sanchez cost 20M in January, it was written it was agreed, looks like he will be 15M now. 😀

    2. Don’t worry they are not that stupid… they consider all aspects, including data analysis…Maignan, Tomori, Kalulu… it’s a good example… not all good such as Toure and Baka… but they are reliable

      1. All of the players that were “fails” were signed on loan with option so I don’t really consider them 100% fails as they didn’t cost us almost any money, it is a great way to get a player and check if he is good enough for Milan if you have any doubts

    3. So brace yourself, it won’t stop until the transfer window (which haven’t open yet) closed, so around 3 month. You won’t be able to sign anyone now anyway.
