CorSport: Wolves-linked €25m Barcelona outcast on Milan’s list of potential targets

By Oliver Fisher -

Just as it seemed as though Milan’s defensive wish list had been narrowed down to a couple of names, a familiar target has re-emerged.

Milan are believed to be in the market for a new central defender given that they will start the 2020-21 season on Thursday with very thin depth due to the fact Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Mussachio are still recovering from injury.

Although Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic continues to be the name strongest linked, there have been other targets mentioned such as Saint-Etienne’s Wesley Fofana and Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer.

Mundo Deportivo reported earlier in the week that Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo – who is valued at €25m – has once again ended up on Milan’s wish list, and now Italian newspaper il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting the same.

They claim that the Frenchman is looking for new accommodation having returned to the Nou Camp after his loan at Schalke and knowing that he does not feature in the plans of the Catalan side.
