Repubblica: Councillors set to vote on element of new Milan and Inter stadium

By Euan Burns -

Councillors from Palazzo Marino are set to vote on Thursday on some elements of the proposed new San Siro stadium that AC Milan and Inter are attempting to build, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Repubblica on Monday (via Milan News), Thursday could see some sort of movement in the case of Milan attempting to get into a new stadium as soon as possible.

Some of the main councillors at Palazzo Marino will be voting on proposing some stakes on the overall plan of the stadium. The outcome of the vote will help the clubs understand further where most of the local government stands in regard to the master plan.

The public debate on the stadium recently concluded and the findings are being collated ready for a presentation in the near future. That is what the clubs are most focused on now as it could represent serious progress.
