The Curva Sud have called upon fans to gather at Milanello before the AC Milan squad leave for the game against Napoli to cheer them on.
As MilanNews recall, the official decision arrived in recent days: the Prefecture of Naples has banned Milan fans residing in Lombardy from travelling to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for the match on Monday 6 April, citing as its generic reason ‘high risk profiles for public order and safety’.

The Curva Sud’s response
The response from the group was not long in coming, who protested the decision on their social media channels. In addition to that, they asked for everyone to meet at Milanello on Saturday morning to cheer the team on before they head south for a huge game.
“As everyone knows, we are faced with yet another crazy decision, made without any logic by those who, incapable of managing public order, prefer to ban business trips without a real reason but hiding behind the usual phrase ‘high risk to public order and safety’.
“It’s a shame that for decades we’ve been going to Naples without any problems, and now we’re forced to stay home with dozens of buses to cancel, lost deposits, and a team left to fend for itself, all for no good reason.
“Institutions and the Serie A League have long advocated inclusive football, encouraging loyalty programs, yet every Sunday they proactively ban away matches, even with membership cards, even discriminating against fans based on their region of residence. Therefore, forced to stay home, we invite Rossoneri fans living in other regions to do the same.
“However, we have decided to support the team in view of a very important match: The appointment for everyone is at Milanello on Saturday morning at 10:30 for the boys’ training before leaving for Naples.”
