Following AC Milan’s defeat against Parma last night, the Curva Sud leader Luca Lucci published a story on his Instagram about the situation. Albeit giving credit to Paulo Fonseca for his openness, the problems must still be solved.
Fonseca didn’t hold back in his post-match interview as he started that there is ‘a general problem’ with the attitude of the Milan players. He also said that there is ‘a lack of desire to defend as a team’, which becomes evident as soon as the Rossoneri go from training to the games.
On his Instagram, the Curva Sud leader Luca Lucci published a story of Fonseca and his words, adding: “At least someone who speaks clearly. But you were probably chosen to solve these very existing problems Then maybe we can also say that we are missing a striker season too, or someone thinks Morata can play all the games”.
Indeed, while Fonseca has been very honest about the issues Milan must solve, he’s yet to do the latter and a lot must change for the next game against Lazio. If not, the Rossoneri could be heading into the international break with disastrous numbers and a huge confidence knock.
What we have from his honestly about players?? Where honestly about transfers?? He dont have anything to lead this team. He scared put kids to play like Camarada etc..He scared move out Leao and Theo from game even they disaster play last few months,so where are honestly here? I will not watch anymore those clowns.
Do your job.. the issues have been there before they appoint you anyou are muc aware of the problems and what need to be done. Two matches four goals and both we come from behind. You can’t level a score line and stop putting pressure till u conceed another goal.
The Last two Games are das.
However surely the biggest Clowns are Roaming around this Forum!
Yes!
RLC is not a midfielder… we have to stop using players that can do only 1 thing…
Play Bennacer-Fofana double pivot and Reijnders as CAM… Tomori and Pavlovic as CBs… wingers are set… RBs are tooooooooo slow and sluggish
I see no reason RLC was not taken out and play Saleamakers he was one of the best in all preseason and attacking threat and find solutions in tight areas
It will take a minute. Gotta acknowledge that in the preseason a lot of starters were missing. They will need time to get to speed.
This isn’t Fifa manager. You can’t just field 11 guys and win 4-0 every game
Parma is more organized. It is a Serie B team practically. Destroyed Milan. You think that a club like Milan needs 2 or how many months to be able to beat a recently Serie B club? Maybe 2 seasons, lets wait.
Guardiola lost his first league game as Barca coach to newly promoted Numancia, in 2008. These things happen. The blame really isn’t on Fonseca, it’s on the directors, it’s on Moncada for signing Emerson, it’s on the other directors for going after the wrong targets.
I know serie A. I know there are no easy games there. Despite what we think about other clubs..yes it’s parma. Also yes, they have been doing this project for a couple of years now.
We had 17 shots vs their 9. If leao wasn’t such an invalid for shooting we might have won. The defensive woes on the other side are not gonna ga away by buying more cbs. That’s tactical and it will take time to gel together.
Well see if in 2 months Milan will be able to beat a parma lvl club. You set the time boi
NO GRINTA. This is the problem since last year. Whoever thinks that stockpiling promising youngsters is the key to win is a FUT player and omits the psychological part of professional sports. At this point play the young kids like Liberali, at least they fight on the pitch.
Conceding 4 goals in 2 games is unacceptable. You have to change those stats if you want a good season.
The attack is creating chances so I suppose that’s a silver lining – but the laziness to defend must be addressed.
RLC should sit on the bench if he doesn’t want to run.
Simply put, we need grinta in our midfield.
4 in 2 could have been somewhat justifiable if we had played against Inter & Juve. But Torino and a newly-promoted Parma? F*** no!
The defense has always been a problem, and, it will get worse if Tomori gets injured. The two wing backs stay forward too long, leaving the central defenders to run back alone. We have to change the way they play at the back. Also, the midfield is not helping them. I guess we also need a top 9. Morata is not going to play all the games, and, from what we have seen, neither Okafor nor Jovic is good enough for that position. They have to make hard decisions. I don’t know if we can still buy Kone even if Bennacer doesn’t leave. With the way our opponents play, we may need to play Fofana and Bennacer/Kone, along with Reijnders, rather than Loftus-Cheek. He is just too stiff to track back.
The truth is start Mr Fonseca needs to tell us if he’s afraid to bench Leao, Hernandez and RLC. We watched the preseason with the so called fringe players and they gave a position result. Why not trust them to start matches while the so called big guys in the team regain their fitness sharpness. Leao from the time he returned from preseason doesn’t deserve to start any more matches until he has a change in attitude and begin to support the team
Forza Milan, see our problem is the so called stars in the team they are unconcern and doesn’t want to kill themselves a bit for the Milan shirt like the olden days players. Look at their attitudes towards games don’t care.
Fonseca must drop them and fix the young guys to fight for the team. Period
Don’t forget Curv Sud’s little tantrum is the reason management didn’t hire the coach that they really wanted to hire and ended up with Fonseca. That’s what happens when you let fans (and not the brightest ones) make decisions for you.
