The Curva Sud opted to send a message to the AC Milan ownership and management during the first half of last night’s win over Hellas Verona.
The Curva have been quite prominent in the media in recent weeks, such as when they addressed the team face to face after the 2-0 loss against Spezia last month but then showed up to Milanello to demonstrate their support for the squad in a delicate moment.
Last night, during the first half of the game, they unveiled a banner stating: “Another season has passed. Now it’s time for the transfer window. We want the leap in quality.”
It is a clear call from the supporters’ group for both clarity and ambition from the Milan management, after what was a disappointing season domestically but a much better one in the Champions League.
