This afternoon, AC Milan’s Curva Sud have announced that they will not be suspending their displays for an ‘indefinite period’.
On the pitch, there have been plenty of problems for Milan this season, and this weekend will be crucial for their season. However, the Curva will look slightly different.
In a post on Instagram, the group revealed that there would be no displays shown during the game, and this will seemingly be the case for a while.
The statement reads as follows:
“In addition to the TEMPORARY SUSPENSION of the banners CURVA SUD, VECCHIA MANIERA, ESTREMI RIMEDI and related symbols, starting tomorrow the distribution of Fanzines inside the stadium will also be banned (you will find them outside the entrances).
“As if that were not enough, the concession of the warehouse for flags, banners, banners etc. has been revoked.
“Reason why it was decided in agreement with all the other groups of the Curva Sud, to suspend the display of any banner, flag, banner for an indefinite period, while waiting for a clear decision to be made regarding these absurd temporary bans.
“The choreography scheduled for tomorrow has also been postponed to a date to be determined… However, there will be no shortage of support for the team in view of a very important match!
“ALWAYS WITH MILAN IN THE HEART!”
I’ve never seen a bigger group of self-important, attention seeking babies than Curva Sud. That’s to say nothing about their criminal activities and thuggish behavior. Milan should cut ties with them all together.
If they try to force the hand, the club should just squeeze them even more so that they understand they’re not the ones commanding…
And if they want to leave, well that will tell what type of fans they are… bye bye Curva Sud… good riddance.
