Fulham want to try and convince Tosin Adarabioyo to stay at the club amid interest from abroad, a report claims, and they are preparing an improved contract offer.
According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are aware that Adarabioyo has suitors abroad and thus they are readying a new deal that could make him ‘one of the best paid players at the club’.
The centre-back’s current contract runs out this summer which means that he is free to talk with other clubs, and the report mentions that Milan and Marseille are keen on signing him, while Liverpool are in the mix too.
The 26-year-old has only made 14 Premier League appearances this season having picked up an injury, but his performances have ‘put him on the radar of England manager Gareth Southgate’.
Fulham boss Marco Silva praised Adarabioyo recently, perhaps in an attempt to try get him to consider penning fresh terms, given the Milan links.
“In December, when it was really busy, he helped the team to reach a really good level. He is a really important player for us inside the football club,” he said.
“He is growing. He is a really good player and of course we always expect better things from him, and if he is going to be the case to go for the national team (then) even better, because it’s always the ambition of a football player.”
