Daily Mail: Milan, Man Utd and Chelsea among clubs eyeing NK Kustosija striker

AC Milan are among a whole host of clubs that are interested in signing American teenager Dino Klapija, according to a report from England.

As per the Daily Mail, there are a number of top European teams that have been left impressed by Klapija, who now plays for NK Kustosija after leaving Dinamo Zagreb’s academy.

Manchester United and Chelsea are mentioned as being keen but Barcelona, Juventus, Milan and RB Leipzig are all keeping tabs on the 16-year-old.

Having been born in the USA, Klapija was at New York City FC’s academy and played as a midfielder but was then moved further upfield to become a centre-forward.

Having already appeared for the USA at U16 level and now Croatia at U17 level, there is no doubting the talent that he is seen as having.

NK Kustosija are known as a bit of a talent factory in Croatia, having sold Mikayil Faye to Barcelona and with others having gone on to bigger things from there.

Leipzig remain the frontrunner to sign the Klapija as per the report, but there could be a bidding war late in the window.
