Sky: Daniel Maldini closing in on loan with option move but Milan will have buy-back

By Oliver Fisher -

Daniel Maldini is set to leave AC Milan in the summer transfer window as a switch to Hellas Verona on an initial loan beckons, a report claims.

So far, the playmaker has spent his entire youth career at Milan right up to making his senior debut and scoring his first goal for the first team in the win over Spezia in the 2021-22 campaign, but with Brahim Diaz and Yacine Adli in the squad plus the possibility of a new signing like Charles De Ketelaere, his small margins for game time may shrink further.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky (via MilanNews), the 20-year-old is very close to completing a move to fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona, with the Gialloblu ahead of the competition to sign him now.

The two clubs are down to the final details in negotiations and the formula is as follows: a loan with the option to buy and a buy-back clause in favour of the Rossoneri.
