CM: De Ketelaere hoping to hurt Bologna again – what filters regarding Leeds rumours

It was back on August 27 when AC Milan beat Bologna 2-0 at San Siro in what was Charles De Ketelaere’s best performance since arriving, and tomorrow he should start against the same opponents.

As Calciomercato.com recall, that game last August against the Rossoblu showed all of the Belgian’s qualities as he got his only goal contribution of the season so far, setting up Rafael Leao.

However, since then things have become difficult for De Ketelaere who has played just 875 minutes in the league since, having lost his place in the starting line-up. However, against Thiago Motta’s Bologna tomorrow at 15:00 CEST he should get his first start since the loss at Fiorentina.

De Ketelaere should be able to count on the help of three compatriots as part of mass turnover: Aster Vranckx in midfield plus Divock Origi and Alexis Saelemaekers in attack, with the former Club Brugge man expected to be the No.10.

It goes without saying that the 22-year-old’s first season at Milan will not go down in the annals and there is a lot of responsibility on the part of the player to justify the investment, but what filters from the management is that they remain convinced he will become a great player with the Rossoneri.

There has been some talk in England regarding a new attempt from Leeds United – who battled hard with Milan to sign him last summer – but the Diavolo’s only intention is to wait for him to explode, which might happen in the second season as it did with Leao and Tonali.
