New AC Milan signing Charles De Ketelaere has promised the fans that he will always give his all for the team.
The Belgian forward had his first major interview with Milan TV (Milan News) since being unveiled by the club on Tuesday night and he addressed the fans directly with a promise.
He was careful not to promise the fans that he will score a certain number of goals for the club during his first campaign or something else that could backfire.
He just wanted them to know that he will be trying as hard as can at all times as that is what most football fans want to see.
“I promise to always give my best in every match and every time I wear this jersey. I hope to win trophies. The only thing I can promise is that I will give my all,” he said.
The Belgian signed from Club Brugge after a very long and drawn-out negotiation phase with the Belgian champions.
There was a point where it seemed that Milan could walk away from the deal but they and the player remained patient.
