AC Milan do not consider the negotiations to bring Charles De Ketelaere to the Rossoneri to be over, according to a report.
MilanNews reports how Milan and Club Brugge have been negotiating for weeks now and over the last few days no real progress has arrived. Every hour could be the right time, every phone call could be the right one and every meeting could be the one that unlocks things.
Yesterday at the Splendid Hotel in Lugano, Switzerland, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara met the management of the Belgian club, but afterwards it emerged that neither have budged in their stance at all.
Club Brugge initially asked for €40m and lowered that to €35m, and Milan made a couple of exploratory offers before coming to €32-33m including bonuses, yet this has not been accepted and a deadlock has emerged because neither side wants to take a step towards the other.
De Ketelaere for his part already has an agreement with Milan, he wants to join the Rossoneri and is pushing for the positive outcome of the negotiations, and there is still trust from all parties that it can be done.
If this deal does not go through because of 1-2 mill euros, it will be a momentuous scandal. I cannot see that happen.
