Sport: Barcelona forward wants to leave on a free as Milan, Inter and Juventus enquire

AC Milan are one of the clubs who have expressed an interest in signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona, according to a report from Spain.

Diario Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting that Depay’s brief time at Barcelona could because the Dutchman – who arrived at the Camp Nou on a free transfer last summer – has ended up outside of the club’s plans, especially since the sacking of Ronald Koeman.

Under new head coach Xavi, the former Manchester United and Lyon forward has ended up down the pecking order, also due to the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Adama Traore during the January transfer market.

The 28-year-old wants more playing time and according to the report some interest has come forward from Italy, where Milan, Juventus and Inter have made some enquiries. He is likely to leave once the season ends and wants to do so on a free transfer.
