CM: Developments expected soon as Nottingham Forest resume talks over Milan loanee

By Oliver Fisher -

Tiemoue Bakayoko’s time at AC Milan could come to an end as Nottingham Forest are expected to intensify talks, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com states that the negotiation between Nottingham Forest and Milan over Bakayoko has reopened. The discussions between the English club – who have just been promoted back the Premier League – have resumed even despite the purchase of Remo Freuler from Atalanta.

Bakayoko is no longer in Stefano Pioli’s plans having barely been used even in the preseason rotations, and it seems that his days with the club are numbered even if he is halfway through a two-year loan from Chelsea.

The idea of a move to Forest is something that Bakayoko has already approved and more news is expected during the week after further talks between the two clubs have been held. It is not yet clear whether it would be a new loan or a permanent deal.
