Di Marzio: AC Milan close to striking €6m deal with PSV over full-back

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez is closing in on an exit, Gianluca Di Marzio claims, with a move to PSV Eindhoven almost complete.

According to the information we collected earlier on Tuesday, Milan value Rodriguez at around the €10million mark, while the Eredivisie side for now are thinking of a €6-7million figure.

We also added – through our mercato expert Vito Angele – that an acceleration could happen in the coming hours due to the presence of PSV emissaries in Milan to try and close an agreement, with Fenerbahce in the background for now.

Di Marzio spoke on Sky Italia’s Calciomercato l’Originale on Tuesday night (via MilanNews.it) and offered an update on the 27-year-old’s situation.

The journalist confirms that Milan met Rodriguez’s agents and PSV emissaries and it seems that an agreement between the two clubs is close.

He adds that Milan have proposed a loan with an obligation to buy set at €6million. PSV representatives will now return to the Netherlands to ask the club for permission to proceed.
