Di Marzio: Milan battling City Group and Red Bull for Udinese talent

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s scouting mission to try and attract young talent is never-ending, and they have set their sights on signing a Udinese academy star.

After Francesco Camarda’s record-breaking debut against Fiorentina, Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reports that the Rossoneri are interested in another Italian player who was born in 2008.

In fact, this player could be considered almost as a ‘twin’ of Camarda, as he was born just three days apart from the striker. His name is Mattia Marello, and he plays as a left midfielder or a left-back for Udinese’s Primavera side.

As reported by journalist, the 15-year-old is very much liked by many top European clubs, while both Red Bull and City Group are interested in bringing him into their ranks.

Marello has made eight appearances for Udinese’s youth team in the Primavera 2a, while he has five caps for Italy’s U16 side and is tipped to make his way up the ranks.
