AC Milan have made contact with the entourage of Parma defender Giuseppe Pezzella as a potential option for the left side, a report claims.
It is no secret that Milan are in the market for a deputy to Theo Hernandez at the left-back position, as Diego Laxalt returned from his loan at Celtic but has been sold to Dynamo Moscow while a reported target in Junior Firpo decided to join Leeds United.
Now, a new target has emerged for Milan in the 23-year-old Pezzella, who played 24 times in Serie A for Parma last season. Speaking on Calciomercato L’Originale on Sky (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio talked about how he is a new idea for Milan with regards to the left-back position.
Not only that, but he revealed that the Rossoneri management have had contact with the player and his entourage and now it remains to be seen whether they will push forward with a deal.
