Talks have continued between AC Milan and Atletico Madrid over Angel Correa with a new formula proposed, a report claims.
As noted by our transfer guru Vito Angele, the player’s representative held a meeting with the Rossoneri at Casa Milan as they continue to try and work out a deal to bring Correa to San Siro.
After confirming the signing of Rafael Leao from Lille, and with Leo Duarte set to follow imminently, the main market objective appears to be giving new head coach Marco Giampaolo a quality second striker.
Gianluca Di Marzio has provided an update on the situation surrounding Correa, stating: “There are still lively talks between Milan and Atletico Madrid for Angel Correa.
“On Thursday morning, the player’s agent Augustin Jimenez was at Casa Milan to continue discussions with the Rossoneri.
“The objective is to find a new basis of an agreement with Atletico, as Milan are looking to alter the percentage of fixed and bonus fees after the André Silva sale to Monaco became more distant.”
