Di Marzio: Milan’s pursuit of PSG striker becomes difficult – the reason

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s pursuit of Hugo Ekitike seems to have hit a wall because they cannot agree terms with Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

Milan are believed to be in the market for a centre-forward who would complete the department, given Olivier Giroud will turn 37 next month and needs support, while Noah Okafor is not a traditional No.9 and Lorenzo Colombo could be loaned out.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky (via MilanNews) last night, the chances of seeing Ekitike end up at Milan are decreasing as the days go by.

The Rossoneri only want to sign him on a loan with option to buy deal, but PSG are not open to this formula unless the option were fixed at a very high price.

Perhaps if PSG were to complete the signing of Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in the final days of the window the situation could change.
