AC Milan continue to be linked with a number of full-back targets and the latest idea they are exploring is Andrea Cambiaso, a report claims.
After the arrivals of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic and Marco Sportiello, Milan are continuing to move on the incoming market and they are now seeking to address the back-up left-back role.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, it seems as though Fode Ballo-Touré is going to Bologna or OGC Nice so a replacement for the Senegal international is needed, with Cambiaso of Juventus the latest idea to be explored.
He had a positive season on loan at Bologna in 2022-23 as he racked up 32 appearances in the league with three assists, earning a starting spot under Thiago Motta.
Milan have initiated initial contacts with the player’s agents, who have also been probed by Tottenham, but at the moment Juve want €25m to sell him.

Yeah, Milan should have signed Cambiasso last summer when he was available for about 8 million, but someone decided to instead spend 3 million on a useless Florenzi and give him 3 million a year salary. Too late to be interested in Cambiasso now.
I don’t think he is chased as a backup, they wouldn’t pay 25M for a LB backup. But I did read that Newcastle is coming for Theo.

Yes, but Lucas Hernandez is primarily a CB, he played more matches as CB in any club he was in. At Bayern he played LB when Alphonso Davies was out. In France he played because Mendy was horrible and Theo wasn’t reliable when defending as much as Lucas.

Sooner or later Theo will go, as will Mike and maybe even Leao. Just need to have replacements scouted and lined up.
Well theo will leave later too , but not this season .Hard to see foreign player stay until he retired at AC Milan , maybe they want prepared his replacement. PSG can trigger leao release clause too if they sell mbappe to real madrid
I doubt that will happen, they can buy Kolo Muani who is good on LW and ST + Harry Kane for almost the same money as Leao. It just doesn’t make sense.
