Di Marzio: Milan still keen on Chelsea holding midfielder despite pursuit of Adli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still in the market for a defensive midfielder despite the fact they are ready to close for Yacine Adli, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) is reporting that Milan are continuing to negotiate with Bordeaux for Yacine Adli, the 21-year-old midfielder who is seen as the ideal deputy to Ismael Bennacer. The Rossoneri management would like to reach an agreement in the next few hours, but on their own economic conditions, in order to add depth to the midfield.

According to the latest from the same journalist (via MilanNews), Milan and Napoli are still monitoring the situation surrounding Tiemoue Bakayoko, who spent the 2018-19 season on loan from Chelsea with the former, and last season on loan with the latter.

However, both clubs have been made aware that Ligue 1 side Lyon have entered the race to sign the 26-year-old, who will depart this summer having signed from Monaco back in 2017.

  1. Forget Bakayoko and sign Kamara instead. Karmara has huge upside, higher resale value, can play 2 positions and is just better and is only 21. Adil would be solid signing as well.
