Di Marzio: Milan very close to sealing signing of Chelsea striker for €1m fee plus bonuses

AC Milan are very close to completing the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea, according to a report.

It has been well documented that the Rossoneri are in the market for a new striker who can be the deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic given the Swede will turn 40 before the end of the year and has struggled with injury problems.

According to what is being reported by gianlucadimarzio.com (via MilanNews), Milan are really close to getting their man in Giroud. The Sky journalist reports that the Rossoneri will pay the English club €1m euros plus €1m bonuses to sign the 34-year-old, and the bonuses will be linked to the player’s appearances or to the club’s Champions League qualification.

For the player ready a two-year contract is ready, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara ready to put their faith in the Frenchman after a season in which he won the Champions League with Chelsea.
