The AC Milan management continues to work to add a defender to the squad and they seem to have settled on Marco Pellegrino, a report claims.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, contacts that took place yesterday between the clubs and now the president of Club Atletico Platense is now on his way to Milan to meet the Rossoneri leadership.
Pellegrino is the name chosen by Milan in their pursuit of a new centre-back as they believe strongly in the qualities and the potential of the 21-year-old. Talks between Milan and Platense are progressing.
The club president is on his way to Italy, where he will meet the Rossoneri management to reach an agreement over a transfer fee. At the moment, the Argentine club’s request is around €5m.
In the current season, the left-sided central defender – who has an Italian passport – has played 17 Superliga matches, also scoring a goal.
