Di Marzio: Probable Milan XI vs. Juventus – crucial role for Bonaventura in 4-4-1-1

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is expected to use a slightly varied formation for Friday night’s game against Juventus, a report claims.

Milan know they must score at least once against Juventus after the 1-1 draw at San Siro in the first leg (away goals being active), and they must do so without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Samu Castillejo – all of whom are suspended.

There are also a number of statistics that work against the Rossoneri, such as the fact they are yet to win a game at the Allianz Stadium, and that they are without a victory in their last 10 games against the Bianconeri.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, Pioli will move forward with total confidence in Ante Rebic meaning Leao will therefore be on the bench, ready to enter the game in progress.

Behind the Croatian is Giacomo Bonaventura who will be tasked with being the playmaker, while Paqueta will be wide right and Calhanoglu wide left, complimented by a midfield pairing of Kessie and Bennacer. The back four is as expected.

Probable Milan XI (4-4-1-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Calabria; Paquetà, Kessiè, Bennacer, Calhanoglu; Bonaventura; Rebic
