Rafael Leao’s lawyer has been seen leaving Casa Milan at the beginning of what is likely to be a ‘difficult’ and ‘long’ negotiation.
There was supposed to be a meeting containing Leao’s lawyer as well as his father but the latter did not show up. The lawyer still appears to have had a meeting with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Manuele Baiocchini described the upcoming negotiations as ‘difficult’ and ‘long’ as talks are set to intensify. The current deal runs out in June 2024.

The time for long negotiation was a year ago, at this point you’re just wasting time that could be spent scouting his replacement when he leaves for free
Well… I’d rather look for the replacement next summer and try to sell when still possible. Free transfer would be the worst possible scenario here.
