Di Marzio: Fulham optimistic after tabling €4m offer but Milan outcast is hesitant

By Isak Möller -

Fode Ballo-Toure is expected to leave AC Milan this summer and he should make a decision on his next destination soon, with two clubs seriously interested. Fulham are one of them, a report claims.

Ballo-Toure didn’t get much playing time this past season, always behind Theo Hernandez in the pecking order, and when he did get some minutes he didn’t exactly shine. Therefore, a transfer is on the cards and two clubs are interested.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fulahma have tabled a €4m offer and are optimistic that the deal can be closed already on Monday. This is the solution that Milan would prefer as well, but Ballo-Toure is hesitant.

Bologna have also made a loan plus option bid and their project is currently more enticing to Ballo-Toure, who wants to stay in Italy. However, the Senegalese international will make a final decision soon, with the Rossoneri pushing for the move to Fulham.

The left-back has not travelled with Milan for their pre-season tour in the United States and his exit is just a matter of time.

  1. Makes sense that he wants to go to Bologna over Fulham if he actually wants to play.
At Bologna he’d probably start, at Fulham he would be going from being Theo’s back up to Antonee Robinson’s back up

  2. I don’t blame him for wanting Bologna, but I don’t think Bologna are in a financial position to pay for a transfer fee

      1. No, Tonali was happy to leave once the contract offer came in. His agent was clear about this. Milan didn’t force him out at all.

  3. If he leaves calafiori or Maatsen could be good options for LB and for RB Wilfred Singo or Sacha Boey could be good options too

  4. please if he leaves does that mean we will have another EU slot available, because I still think we should sign Kamada, we need to have a very competitive team so that we can compete in everything, it’s long since we won triple
