Di Marzio: Salernitana secure signing of goalkeeper Ochoa ahead of Milan clash

Salernitana are in a similar situation to AC Milan ahead of the clash on January 4th, as their first-choice goalkeeper Sepe is injured. Therefore, they have now secured the signing of Ochoa, various reports claim.

Luigi Sepe got injured a while back and has been ruled out for the game against Milan, and most likely several others. Salernitana, therefore, have acted accordingly and are now ready to welcome Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ochoa will arrive to fully complete the move on Thursday, arriving on a free transfer from CF America. He will thus be ready to make his debut for the club against Milan.

It remains to be seen who will be in between the sticks for Milan as Mike Maignan’s recovery is slower than expected. The Rossoneri’s plan B is to bring in Marco Sportiello, whom they already have an agreement with, earlier than initially planned.
