Don Balon: Raiola offers €60m Milan star to Barcelona – Chelsea involved in the saga

By Oliver Fisher -

A surprise new potential destination has arisen for Gianluigi Donnarumma whose future at Milan is far from certain, a report claims.

Three years after the contract saga that occurred when Donnarumma was just 18 years old, it seems that his career at Milan is heading towards another crossroads.

His contract is set to expire in 2021 and Milan do not want him to enter the last 12 months of his deal, so it will be necessary to establish a stance before the summer window. Multiple reports are claiming though that a rise on his current €6m salary is not an option Elliott Management want to explore.

Nicolo Schira reported that a number of clubs are sniffing around the goalkeeper, including the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, all of whom have offered €8m-a-year deals to agent Mino Raiola.

According to the latest from Don Balon, Milan value the Italy international at €60million despite his perilous contract issue.

He has several admirers around Europe too such as Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG – but now Barcelona can be added to the list, as the Spanish outlet writes.

Current Blaugrana No.1 Marc-Andre Ter Stegen could leave the Nou Camp due to frictions with Lionel Messi, and Donnarumma has been offered by Raiola to the Barça leadership.

The goalkeeper of Milan would be an attractive profile to Bartomeu and his associates, who are also evaluating Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ajax’s Andre Onana and Bilbao’s Simon. The final word, however, will go to Donnarumma.
