Donnarumma fires warning shot to Chelsea, Man Utd by reiterating love for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has fired a warning to Chelsea, Manchester United and other interested clubs regarding his future.

It has been well documented that Milan face another dilemma regarding the future of their prized shot stopper, just as they did back in 2017. With Donnarumma’s deal set to expire in 2021, they must either agree a renewal ahead of next season or sell him this summer, so as to at least generate a fee from his sale.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old continues to be one of Milan’s most consistent performers which has led to suggestions that a number of different clubs are circling.

Tuttosport claimed on Thursday that Chelsea are ready to make an offer for Donnarumma however Real Madrid and PSG will provide competition, while the Express are reporting that Manchester United are also interested.

Nonetheless, Donnarumma has done a Q&A with the Rossoneri supporters during which he reiterated his love for the club, a possible hint that the door is not completely shut regarding a stay.

“The Rossoneri colours mean so much to me because I grew up here, I have always been a fan of Milan and I can not help but give my best for this shirt,” he said (via MilanNews.).

“The first objective is that of the club and which we set ourselves at the beginning of the season, the personal one is to always give our best and try to concede as few goals as possible.”
