AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has claimed that the harmony within the squad is the main reason for such an upturn in performances.
Milan have been fantastic form recently, winning six out of eight in the league since the resumption including their most recent victory being a 5-1 win over Bologna at San Siro on Saturday night.
Speaking to Milan TV, Donnarumma reflected on how the team are getting on at the moment and on his own personal growth.
“We are fine, we enjoy being together and joking. This harmony leads us to play well,” he said.
“We are having fun playing and this is the cause of the great recent results. The desire to be on the field and to prepare the game is seen from the door and this turns into a good game and a great desire to win.
“I always do my best and I try to encourage and help the team, especially in times of difficulty.
“We have fantastic fans. They have always supported and helped the team. This moment is also for them, we hope to return soon because they can give us a great hand.”
