El Nacional: Real Madrid forward wants Milan return as difficult situation develops

By Oliver Fisher -

Brahim Diaz wants to return to AC Milan as his playing time at Real Madrid risks being minimal, according to a report from Spain.

According to El Nacional, Arda Güler has convinced Carlo Ancelotti that he should get more opportunities having put his injury issue behind him, and Real Madrid view him as an investment given he is just 18 years old and the room for improvement is enormous.

One of the main players affected will be Brahim Díaz, who once again trusted Real Madrid and opted to return and be part of this season’s squad, but little by little he is seeing how the promises of prominence have been pushed aside and now he is back to being on the bench.

The playmaker knows he won’t have many options to shine and even less in a high-level match. If his situation does not improve, he could consider leaving Real Madrid again next January or in the summer of 2024.

In a recent report, the same source said that they will not stand in the way of Brahim should he ask to leave but at the moment they are happy to keep him, asking for €30-35m in order to sell.

The Spaniard would like to return to Italy and to Milan, but at the moment the operation is economically unviable, which means his future could be in the Premier League where the most interested club is Arsenal.

  1. We needed Brahim untill club raised revenue, so that’s was the main reason for his play.
Now we need Chukwueze to start play with goals and assists. Because who could get only one more chance in next season untill he will be sold if he can’t gain any impact. And Chukwueze can be lucky that Pulisic showed good games.

For player like Brahim there is no space. We need someone like Leao or Pulisic.

  2. Not the right person for us and for the league. Too small, too lightweight, and too inconsistent. Probably it’s better for him to join another La Liga team. Good luck.

  3. I would love to see Brahim back in the club as a reliable solution of the bench. He is a great player with a lot of qualities. Maybe no for a starter because of his lack of physicality, but he can be a game changer. Although I think he is too expensive. For sure his decision to go back to Madrid was wrong but Real was asking a lot of money and his will was to go back to Madrid.

  4. He’s mediocre at best.
Running like a headless chicken literally since he always looked down when he runs.
He’s delusional if he thought he could get in to madrid starting eleven.
If he’s lucky he can be a starter at las palmas or something.

  5. If anyone thought Real would integrate him instead of using him as a backup, they were ill informed or didn’t have their players best intersts in mind.

New contract at Real, raise for the agent, sale from Real to new team 6 months later, another raise for the agent, we know why he was advised to go there.

  6. Have to wonder what he was thinking, if he thought he’d have a prominent role at Real Madrid.

His future is in the bottom half of the Spanish league or in France.

We only played him because we didn’t have a good player as AW or RW.

    1. That’s one of the reason why Maldini & Massara got sacked.

      1. Grow other club’s players like a Mediocre Club.
      2. Let best players go on free transfer, so other club harvest what we had sow.

Why did they do it ?

      1. it is very simple

        1. Maldini had something like a VIP relationship with Real Madrid. I don’t know the people behind it, but he could always make a good deal with them.

So with Maldini, there was surely an option (probably spoken) to negotiate his permanent transfer to Milan

        2. He was one of Pioli’s favourite player.
Pioli has the final word who plays and who is on the bench. Pioli always preferred Brahim over other players (Adli/CdK etc).
In the past he sometimes even benched Calhanoglu over him.

        3. Given that Maldini had a very limited budget – Maldini had to work with low cost players.
Brahim was a loaned player (so he was low cost).
This saved money could be used for example to negotiate Leao’s extension or the signing of Maignan etc.

  7. Moncada, D’Ottavio, & Furlani already invest to other forwards : Pulisic (Current Most Exciting RW), Chukwueze (Immense Potential at his dribbling skills, surpass Brahim Diaz, i think), Luka Romero (very exciting potential for the future and need senior playing time), Okafor (Proper Leao’s backup at LW).

We already have enough forwards now, so Brahim lose his chance to continue his good forms at Milan.

  8. I would welcome Brahim Diaz back with open arms. This kid as improving under Pioli and he showed up in big games against Juventus, Napoli, Tottenham, Lazio, etc.

He’s a better option than Chukwueze and Romero combined. It’s a shame that fans forgot so quickly his impact at Milan.

He also gives us more options for Pioli. I would say loan with option to buy at 20-25m is a fair price.

If he only wants Milan then Real Madrid will have to lower their valuation and asking price.

His greedy agent screwed him over because they should have pushed for a permanent move to Milan.

  9. 30 – 35 million for him?! With the players we have now, and even more. important, even if we still didn’t have them, paying 70 to 100% more for him than for players like Pulisic, Reijnders, Musah?!
    😅😅😁😁😭😭😭
