CorSera: Empoli star set for Milan audition ahead of potential summer move

By Oliver Fisher -

Tonight’s game between AC Milan and Empoli will give Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara the chance to watch an Empoli star up close, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) reports that the game between the Rossoneri and the Azzurri at San Siro will provide another opportunity for Tommaso Baldanzi to showcase his capabilities.

He certainly did so in the game earlier game he played this season on the same ground as he made a big impact against Inter with Paolo Zanetti’s side getting a shock 1-0 win.

The attacking midfielder has four goals this season and is just 20 years of age making him a very interesting prospect for the future.

He is also an established player for Italy’s U21 national team, and he is a profile that is very popular among the Milan management, thus making tonight an audition of sorts ahead of the summer transfer window.
