Fabrizio Romano confirms Milan are pushing ahead for two ‘main’ targets

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hopeful of completing two signings to reinforce their attacking department ahead of the coming season, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.

During his latest Twitter update regarding Milan, Romano stated that the Rossoneri are pushing for Charles De Ketelaere. Talks are ‘progressing’ with both the player and Club Brugge, while the Belgian playmaker wants Milan ‘as priority’ over Premier League clubs.

New contacts are ongoing between Milan and Club Brugge as per the journalist, with De Ketelaere and Hakim Ziyech the ‘main Milan targets’ at the moment.

In a previous tweet, Romano stated that Milan are working on both Ziyech and De Ketelaere deals. A new official bid is coming soon for the latter after a meeting with his agent and opening bid.

Meanwhile, talks are on with Chelsea for Ziyech, with the player keen on the move and the club open to let him go as he is not a key part of their plans.

  1. Romano is a good sources — this update makes me happy. Would love to get both CDK and Ziyech. To me, these 2 players are both much, much more important than Renato Sanches.

We could use one more centerback and we need a cheap backup for Theo.

    1. I agree with you about CDK but not for Ziyech. He is far behind what we would expect even at the technically or financially, and don’t forget that he is 29 already, and mostly spent his times on the bench.

      1. Yeah, he was criminally bad at Chelsea, much better at Ajax. But if he is coming on loan it is a good move on a budget, as he is definitely an upgrade on current RW.

  2. If none of them come to Milan!! it still wouldn’t matter for all the days these sites wasted our time with the false transfer hype and all the emotions they made us go through by making us produce unnecessary “Endorphins” to deal with the stress of Milan’s disappointing transfer season.

At the end some of us still won’t remember for the love of this CLUB.

  3. It depend on AC Milan now. Both player already agree to AC Milan . Now ball on AC Milan to negotiate with their club
