Fan transforms Kessie shirt with felt-tip pen and Renato Sanches leaves a like – photo

AC Milan continue to be linked with a move to Renato Sanches, and a hint may have arrived from the player through some quite unusual circumstances.

A fan went viral on social media for transforming his Franck Kessie shirt printing with some tape and a felt tip pen into a Renato Sanches shirt, given he has been identified as a possible replacement for next season (via MilanNews).

Among the many likes on the photo there is also one that certainly did not go unnoticed: Renato Sanches himself expressed his appreciation by leaving a like on the Goal Italy Instagram post.

  1. Milan surely will miss kessie once he’s gone. The unnecessary hate and criticism he gets, also uncalled for. Players leave their club all the time, this isn’t the late 90s or 2000’s, loyal players like maldini is rare. What matters now is how the player is performing, then again, sempremilan or milan fans in that will also deny the contribution of kessie. But he has been nothing but solid in his performance, it’s not eye glittering like the premier league but it’s been enough for us, cause otherwise we wouldn’t have been on the top.

    1. I respect you man… We should always be positive… His performance is very important to why we are now topping the table…

  2. Kessie has been critical in this recent run of excellent form the team has been having. He was really fantastic yesterday — I think he, along with Kalulu, Tomori and Theo, were our 4 best players in the big win over Atalanta. He wins tackles, is calm and poised on the ball in possession always finding an open teammate without any panic. He’s physical and when we are protecting a lead late, he’s the master of holding the ball by the corner flag and shielding with his big strong body.

    1. If I recall he made a super tackle in the box late in the game, daring but successful. He has all the right to protect his body so he is healthy when he leaves, but instead he is winning all the 50/50s and tearing it up on the pitch, hope he scores this weekend for his unselfish efforts.

  3. He was very good, but i feel confident we can replace him, although its a shame he is going on a free.

Im confident for next season though, we are fighting for a Scudetto with huge deficiencies up front and on the right wing, and in the Diaz position. If we can fix these then we should start as favourites.

  4. Respect to you bro… He has been always important in any game he played…especially yesterday he was very good… We have to be positive… Leaving the club doesn’t mean the fans show forget what he has done for the club…

  5. The main point here is that the fans were betrayed. He should have given the fans assurance that he’d renew over the summer. He should have just left it all in limbo, instead of saying what the fans wanted to here. “Word is bond”, and this a phrase much respected in Italy; just in case anybody is finding it difficult why Kessie is getting this treatment even in the light of decent on-field performances.

Even if it was the #1 player in the world, or if he scored 100 league goals during the active season, he would still be given the same treatment in Italy if he didn’t stick to his words. It’s not being racist either, its just principle.
