The French agent Yvan Le Mée has revealed his belief that AC Milan are better placed than Juventus to sign Renato Sanches from Lille this summer.
The Lille midfielder is under contract until June 2023 and several sources are reporting that Milan have him in their sights as a potential replacement for Franck Kessie, whose deal runs out at the end of the season and looks set to join Barcelona.
Le Mee is a France Football Federation and FIFA agent who has a number of clients under his name, and he gave an interview to Tuttosport in which he talked about the future of Renato Sanches, with his comments relayed by Calciomercato.com.
“If I had to play a pizza with a friend about the player’s future, well I would say more Milan than Juventus seen that the Rossoneri have a great feeling with Lille,” he said.
It has been well documented in the media that Milan and Lille are on good terms thanks to the deals done in recent years that saw Rafael Leao join in 2019 (with Tiago Djalo going the other way) and Mike Maignan last summer.
