The full-back wore the No.25 in his first two years with the Rossoneri which was one above the No.24 he had at Roma, his old club.

However, he has now chosen the No.42 which is a mirror of what he had during his time with the Giallorossi, and we can presume that this is the main motivation behind the decision.
Hes the 42nd best player in our squad of 25.
But I bet he’s a good influence in the dressing room, if he had a lower salary I’d be pleased hes in the squad.
