Youssouf Fofana feels that he has been welcomed well by his AC Milan team-mates, and expressed his pride at being able to represent the club.

“It was a great victory, we showed another side of Milan. It wasn’t easy after the red card but we resisted and showed that we can suffer together and move forward.”
How have you settled in?
“Since I arrived the guys have welcomed me well. Day after day I feel more confident, doing things better and better. Tonight it was difficult, I helped Pulisic in midfield because he was in a position he is not used to playing in.”
Do you feel the importance of playing for a club like Milan?
“Yes. The shirt is heavy to wear, but it’s my job. I’m proud to be part of this team. If we continue like this I’ll be even more proud.”
