Francesco Camarda has already had a taste of Champions League action, and he will be part of the squad that makes the trip to Bratislava tomorrow.
MilanNews report that the Milan team returned to training this morning less than 24 hours after the drab goalless draw against Juventus. There is no time to dwell on the result for the Rossoneri, who will have to play in the Champions League in Slovakia on Tuesday against Slovan Bratislava.
Francesco Camarda also trained in today’s session with the first team. The young striker – who was on the bench yesterday – will therefore depart with them for the Slovakian capital tomorrow.
Paulo Fonseca will not have Alvaro Morata available due to suspension, nor Luka Jovic who is having physical problems but is also excluded from the Champions League squad list.
Camarda will therefore be Tammy Abraham’s back-up, one would presume, unless Fonseca wants to make a bold choice like he did for the Cagliari game before the break by starting the 16-year-old.
Abraham is unlikely to be at 100% in terms of condition having spent time out with a shoulder issue that he picked up, therefore the chances of Camarda getting at least a portion of the game are high.
I wish Fonseca would let him start.
Abraham and Camarda are better and im not glad about it.
