AC Milan are being tipped to win the Scudetto next season by a former Juventus striker, who has been coached by two of the greats.
There is a need to improve next season for Milan, and many would probably take getting back into Europe. However, there are some who believe that the Rossoneri could push further than that, in fact, battling for the Scudetto.
Of course, after finishing outside of the European places, there will probably be a few doubters. However, the last team to do similar was Napoli, and that ended with a Scudetto last season. In other words, it has happened before.
Llorente’s claim
The bookmakers, for what it’s worth, have the Diavolo as the fourth favourites behind Inter, Napoli and Juventus. Should that run occur, it would see a welcome return to the Champions League, but aspirations will certainly be higher.
This afternoon, Fernando Llorente spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport and offered his thoughts on the title picture, and his words have been relayed by Calciomercato.com.
“That’s for sure, he’ll [Allegri] compete with Conte. Max, when he saw me on the physiotherapy table at Juve, always made fun of me: “Nandone, how are you today?” He loves to joke, but he’s a winner like Conte.

“Napoli are the reigning champions and will strengthen: what a coup De Bruyne, a champion who has marked the recent history of City. Antonio is obsessive about work, and I’m convinced that he will give the Belgian a second youth.
“But initially De Bruyne will have to adapt to Conte’s training rhythms, I say this from personal experience: with him you suffer at first, but with time you go twice as fast as your opponents.”
Modric…
“I play padel now… He’s been playing from Real Madrid to Milan, but to tell the truth, he’s also good with the racket. I know Modric well, we’ve shared several events in Spain. He’s super competitive and brilliant, a monster with an iron mentality. He’ll make the difference at San Siro too.”
Vlahovic...
“When you leave Juve, you almost always regret it. They are personal choices, but if you don’t have offers from top clubs like Real Madrid or big clubs of that level, I would think carefully before changing. The priority is to be happy. The World Cup is a great opportunity for Vlahovic: he will have everyone’s eyes on him. Goals can change the stories of strikers.”
“admits”
The word you’re looking for is ‘guesses’ or ‘speculates’
Llorente would’ve made a fine addition to this squad in his heyday.
😂😂😂
If we all should be honest, Napoli is a big contender for another Serie A title in this coming season.
The kind of players they’re been linked with has been very impressive, I wish it was Milan making those moves
In Naples, Kevin de Bruyne done and dusted. Other top signings to follow. Meanwhile in Milanello, the circus show continues…
