CM: There were four opportunities for Bakayoko to leave Milan in January

By Euan Burns -

There were four separate opportunities presented by three different clubs for Tiemoue Bakayoko to leave AC Milan but none of them materialised, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the French midfielder is set to remain at the club and continue training with the rest of the squad.

The move that seemed the most likely was to Vincenzo Montella’s Adana Demirspor, but that fell through. That opportunity came up again at the end of the window but the process could not be completed in time on deadline day.

They were two opportunities, and there was also a chance that he could have joined either Lyon or Cremonese on deadline day.

This meant that Milan could not lighten their wage bill, which would have increased the possibility of bringing an attacker into the club late in the transfer window.

Bakayoko is on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea in the Premier League.

  1. I think Pioli could have used him a little more, he is the only player who brings physicality to the midfield.. i know he is clumsy with the ball at his feet at times , but I think with game time he would have gotten better! Bakayoko would have been a great help with teams that dominates us in the middle of the pitch… Pioli only needs to manage his playing time, so that he doesn’t exceed the playing time needed to activate the buying clause! I think he would perform well in games like Inter!
I think it’s time to use a 3 man midfield , it would give Theo more freedom on the flank and it would boost up the middle of the park where teams tend to dominate us!
433 would have been a great idea against Inter, we have Krunic , Adli , Pobega , Vrankx who is more a box to box player , Tonali too can play that role! Bennacer would be our regista!
Bennacer have been our best player so far this season( my opinion)
