From France: PSG join Milan in race for Spain U21 star

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign report Milan target Dani Olmo, if the latest rumours from France are to be believed.

The Rossoneri have been linked with a move for Olmo in recent months, and interest in the Spaniard was confirmed by his agent Marko Naletilic back in December.

In June Olmo himself confessed that he is flattered by the links to Milan, before he went on to play a huge part in the Spain side which won the U21 European Championships this summer.

An update from Calciomercato.com last week stated that Milan are ‘on the front row’ when it comes to Italian teams that are interested in signing the 21-year-old.

The outlet even went on to add that Olmo wants to join Milan as he ‘recognises the history, prestige and current project of the club’.

However, an update from Mercato365.com – as cited by Calciomercato – has revealed that PSG sent scouts to watch him during Dinamo’s 4-0 win over Atalanta in the Champions League last Wednesday.

With competition now arriving for his signature, Milan will have to act quickly if they are to sign one of Europe’s brightest young prospects.
