From Spain: Man Utd ready to sell underperforming star and offer big contract to Milan man

By Oliver Fisher -

One of the top sides in the Premier League are ready to try and tempt Gianluigi Donnarumma to sign with them, a report claims.

With six months left until his contract expires, the pressure on Milan is growing by the week to find an agreement or risk losing such a talented player for free. Despite the situation, numerous sources are claiming that Donnarumma wants to stay at his boyhood club and that the management are optimistic about finding an agreement.

According to what is being reported by Fichajes.net, Manchester United are in the running to try and land Donnarumma as the Premier League club’s plan is to get rid of David De Gea and replace him with the Italy international.

United are ready to offer Donnarumma a stellar contract to convince him to move to Old Trafford and leave the club of his heart, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will of course try until the end to get him to stay.

  1. Manchester United should whatever they have to in order to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma so that the goalkeeping position can be secured for the next 10 – 12 years.

They do not have to sell David De Gea and /or Dean Henderson to do so.

Three solid goalkeepers will take the club to their old glory without a doubt for well into the next decade.

Ed Woodward, please do the right thing and you will be revered for years to come.

    1. You can’t have three too quality keepers in the first team squad, it would be impossible to keep them happy and have a trophy winning team. Already United are looking to sell either David or Dean and bring in a keeper willing to play second fiddle to our No.1 while loosing a quality no.2 in Romero for nothing. United already fork out over £500,000 a week in wages for those three keepers, a deal for Donnarumma would only make sense if both David and Dean leave

  2. Dea Gea had been a good keeper to Manchester United since signed by Old Trafford. Now looking at his age n his performances,Manunited should sell him out n get a younger, more energetic, fast reflexes keeper like Donnarumma.Dea Gea wages is also way too heavy now.Can get Donnarumma with lesser wages paid.As for Henderson, young and a quality keeper but less experiences.Either be a second choice or he have to look for other team that can assures him as a first choice
