From Spain: Man Utd to rival Milan for signing of unhappy Real Madrid forward – €15m bid ready

AC Milan appear to face competition from Manchester United if they are to land Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, a report claims.

Calciomercato.it reported a week ago that Milan are attentive to Vazquez’s situation as he will leave Real Madrid at no cost because they have no intention of renewing his contract expiring next June.

DonBalon went one further, claiming that Vazquez has made the decision to join Milan as he is frustrated for two reasons: his low salary and the fact that he has played more minutes as a defender than as a forward.

According to Real Madrid based outlet Defensa Central, Vazquez has emerged as a transfer target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United, and they are readying a €15m January bid for his services.

Solskjaer is clearly a big admirer of the versatility of the Spaniard, as he apparently believes he can cover for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back as well as playing on the wing.
