From Spain: Milan beat Leicester and Sevilla to winger – agreement in place over three-year deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are closing in on being able to welcome Florian Thauvin to their plans ahead of next season, according to a report.

The latest from TF in Spain claims that Thauvin will leave Marseille after not rejecting the offer of a renewal, and he will do so on a free transfer as a result. The player has opted to continue his career at Milan as the Rossoneri are planning to recruit big names ahead of what will hopefully be a return to the Champions League.

Not only that, but the source claims that the management are planning for the departure of Brahim Diaz. There is talk of a verbal agreement between Milan and Thauvin, so once the next transfer window opens, Milan will make the signing official.

Milan have beaten Sevilla and Leicester, among many other clubs, to get the player’s green light. Thauvin will improve his current salary and will also sign for three seasons, until the summer of 2024.
